The TAG Medical Prize has been awarded for many years for the best paper presented by an advanced trainee in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Annual Scientific Meeting. Gary and Maree Pearce have supported this activity, which has been hotly contested each year.
Papers are selected from submitted abstracts and presented at a separate session. They are judged by the Society Visitors as well as members of the Council. 2006 will be no exception.
