TAG Medical Prize
Trainees are encouraged to submit abstracts for consideration for the Tag Medical Prize. This is awarded for best paper presented by an Australasian Surgical Trainee or accredited overseas fellow training in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the annual scientific meeting in October.
The winner for 2006 is Dr Greg Rice from Adelaide
All entrants for the TAG Medical prize must provide a manuscript to the conference registration desk at the time of presentation for consideration by Heart, Lung and Circulation.
BAYER TRAVEL FELLOWSHIP
Bayer Healthcare are sponsoring travel fellowships to attend the STS Meeting in San Diego, January 2007. The two winners are Dr Jee-Yoong Leong of Liverpool Hospital and Dr Marco Larobina of Royal Melbourne Hospital.
